I’m not going to lie. My confidence cycle used to be something of a roller coaster. On my best days, I was climbing high. On other days, I was dropping lower and lower waiting to go back up. Confidence is a powerful force that can shape the course of our lives. It empowers us to tackle challenges, take risks, and seize opportunities. Without confidence you probably feel stuck or stagnant in life. However, for many women, a lack of confidence can be a significant barrier to personal and professional growth. If you’ve ever struggled with self-doubt, fear, or a sense of inadequacy, you are not alone. I hear you. I see you. Here are a few amazing ways to get an instant confidence boost.

  1. Write down 10 things you are amazing at. Review them and smile!
  2. Strike a power pose! Feet apart and arms in the air making a “V” shape. Stand there for 30-60 seconds and look up. Instant change in mood! Am I right?
  3. Crank up your favorite music and dance it out!
  4. Call a friend who loves you and knows you the best. You will get an instant mood boost and feel a change of confidence just by talking and saying hello.
  5. Dress for success! Change up what you are wearing, spray the perfume, put on some gloss or your favorite makeup products! Do what feels right to you to make you feel good!
  6. Smile! Just stand in front of the mirror and smile big! Say cheese! Sounds so simple. It is!

Lacking confidence is more common than you might think. It’s a feeling that transcends age, background, and professional status. Many women grapple with the persistent belief that they’re not good enough, not smart enough, or not capable enough. This self-doubt can hinder progress and limit one’s potential in various aspects of life. The truth is, you are good enough! You are perfectly you in every way!
