Does this phrase sound familiar?

“I need to get my life together.”

I am hearing this phrase more and more every day. I have heard this said by women in the workplace, in workshops, with my one-on-one clients, and in conversations with women in everyday life. I remember saying this same statement early on with a demanding full time job and two kids at the time. I remember doing everything for everyone else, facing life like a battlefield, and felt like I was a disorganized mess. I promise you it can get better.

Here’s a quick activity for you to do today. Google “I need to get my life…” Look at the search results. Here is what I generated in the drop down. When you click on “I need to get my life together,” Google generates over 3 billion results. WOW!

What does this mean? It means you are not alone in this life. We know we should stop thinking this way, but often times the missing link is how to dream and move beyond where we are right now.

Looking for a place to start? Here is the one thing guaranteed to accelerate your progress to create a positive change in your life. Just stop saying“ I need to get my life together”. We look at our world in comparison to others and from a place of having less. Stop looking at what you think is wrong with you. Stop comparing. Comparison is the ultimate thief of joy.

Let’s adopt these words instead. “I have an amazing life.”

The words you use matter. Next, write a list of all the things that make your life amazing. When you show gratitude for what you have, you will see your world through a new lens and eliminate the comparison you allowed into your life.

Did you say it? Did you make the list? I am fighting for you to create the change in your life you desire! If you are seeking a change or ready to start fighting for more, it’s time to act. Let’s talk about the 3 things you want to achieve in the next 90 days to give your life meaning and get you fired up! Schedule Here!

Your words and actions will create a life you love or a life you hit the snooze button on. You decide. Remember, I am here for you! You got this!
