Do you like trying on new clothes before you buy them? I know I do. I am notorious for ordering clothes from Amazon, trying them on, and then deciding if I am going to return them or buy them. What would happen if we approached our life in this way? What could happen if we allowed ourselves to try something new? Just like test-driving a car or sampling a flight of drinks before deciding which option is best for us. We love to sample the simple things, but when it comes to designing our life with intention and purpose we often stop before we ever get started.

If you are looking to make a change in your life here is a way to create your life test drive. This is called the “rent it” approach. This is simply about dabbling in something new that you are interested in doing, trying, or experiencing in a short window of time. Maybe you are thinking about learning a new skill, improving your health, harnessing a new talent, meeting new people, getting involved in your community, or investing time in your overall health. Think about something you have been wanting to try. Why haven’t you tried it? What tools do you need to try something new? Did you try it long enough to know if it was the right fit? Do you need accountability or support?

Next is the “own it” approach. Let’s say you tried something new for a week and you discover new meaning, fulfillment, found clarity, or even flow! These are all telltale signs that you should own the approach or the thing you tried. Maybe you started walking 20 minutes a day for a week and decided that you love the way you feel and the clarity you now have. Can you imagine feeling this way?

It’s about taking on something new and trying it on for size and making a conscious decision to truly “own it” in your daily life. It can be hard to make decisions if you are tired, facing uncertainty, have settled, or feel like you are barely surviving. If this is you, I encourage you to set up a 30-minute time together. Let’s talk about the 3 things you want to achieve in the next 90 days to give you meaning and get you fired up!

Whether you choose to rent or own your life, it’s up to you to create a life that you love by taking ownership of your choices and investing in yourself. I don’t want to see you settle or merely survive! It’s time to shake things up and rent something new! If you are ready, I am launching the “Rent It to Own It” Challenge! I am going live in the group on Monday, April 24th to kick us off for a week! Think about something new that you want to try or do in your life and join the group! Ask yourself what you need most right now and I will see you there!

So excited to do this with you!

Love and Hugs,
