Living your personal “life” style means intentionally creating a way of living that aligns with your values, goals, and preferences. It involves making deliberate choices about how you spend your time, what activities you prioritize, and how you take care of yourself. 

Get your pen and paper out! Here are 3 simple steps to discover your personal “life” style. 

1. Identify Your Values

Your values guide your decisions. Ask yourself: What do I value most in life? Is it family, creativity, health, wealth, adventure, or something else entirely? Write down the values that come to mind. Ask yourself, “Am I connected with these each day? Am I living my true self? Which ones do I want to re-connect with? Use your values as a guide to change how you approach your day and what you allow yourself to make time for. 

2. Find Your Joy

What activities make you feel happy and fulfilled? Maybe it’s spending time outdoors, trying new foods, working out, spending time with family, or a new hobby. Again, write down the activities that give you joy, pay attention to how you feel when you engage in your joy-moments, and make time for them in your life. 3. Experiment with Different “Life” Styles

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Try out different activities, travel to new places, and meet new people. I recently went to a jazzercize class and discovered that I really enjoyed it! I can’t wait to go back! Experimenting and trying new things can help you discover what you like and don’t like, and can lead you to a lifestyle that feels authentic and fulfilling.
